FAQ

Do I need to create an account?
No. Flyway works without an account and we will not ask for your name, email, or a login.

Why does the app ask for my location?
Location is used only to look up which birds are local to your area, to find nearby rescue centers, and to tag a collision report. You can also pick a spot on a map instead of using GPS, and you can turn location off anytime in your device settings.

I found an injured or dazed bird. What should I do?
Open Find a rescue center in the app to see licensed wildlife rehabilitators near you (U.S.), and call before heading over. Do not give it food or water, and keep it away from pets.

Why are some features U.S. only?
The window safety check works worldwide. Reporting collisions and finding rescue centers currently rely on U.S. data sources, so those two features are limited to the United States for now.

How is my data handled?
Flyway is free, has no ads, and doesn't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
